Often used as a substitute for rice, quinoa is commonly considered to be a grain and is usually referred to as such, but it is actually a seed. Quinoa was a staple of the ancient Incas and means "the mother grain". It is high in iron, protein, complex carbs, B vitamins, magnesium, iron, and zinc.
At Soluxe Nutrition, we like to keep things simple, which is why we make our products with a handful of natural plant ingredients for your benefit. That's just how we think it should be.
Bring 200ml of water to a boil in a small pot. Add 60g of quinoa and return to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium and simmer until water is absorbed, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat, sift, cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
Keep in a cool & dry place for maximum freshness.
